NICEIC stands for
National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting. It
is a number of organizations which monitors the teachings and work of
electrical companies in the United Kingdom. The NICEIC is one of a
number of contributors given government consent to provide Competent
Person Schemes to regulate electrical work inside the electrical trade.
It is a privately run entity and not a government organization, as
sometimes incorrectly thought.
What Is NAPIT?
NAPIT stands for The
National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers. They are
registered installers validated under a Competent Person Scheme (CPS)
are allowed to verify that the job they carry out in your home, is
conforming with applicable building regulations for electrical, heating,
plumbing, air conditioning and ventilation.
What Is Part P Electrical Safety?
In 2005 the Government established
electrical safety directives into the Building Regulations for Wales and
England. Electricians engaging work in Wales and England need to act
with Part P of the Building Regulations but in Scotland it is the
Building Standards organization.
What Is The TrustMark Scheme?
It is the sole Government backed
programme for jobs in and around the home. They award enlisted companies
with their accreditation after rigorous examination and on-the-spot
observation to make certain the company is elevating industry
excellence.
